I am able to brake with is far better than I ever expected. For the first time ever, I can consistently hover on the edge of ABS or lock-ups, fully in control.

Having personally experienced various pedal sets, including Logitech and Thrustmaster, I can confidently say that the CSL V2 pedals outshine their counterparts. The firm and realistic feel of these brakes elevate your racing experience to a whole new level. While it may take some time to adapt to the increased braking strength, the benefits become evident as you gain more control and consistency in your driving. In fact, on a first try I was unable to fully compress the brake pedal.
During the first couple of weeks, I was forced to run the brake pressure at a mere 35% in ACC just to run it comfortably during a one hour stint. The pressure required varies per game, as I'm able to run them at 100% in F1 2023.

Switching to the Fanatec CSL V2 pedals from my previous setup, I noticed a significant improvement in my overall performance. While the V3 pedals may offer slight improvements, the CSL V2 pedals provide a similar experience, if not more comfort in terms of braking performance.
The only downside? Well the price is one to point out. At around €299 it's still an expensive pedal set. Don't get me wrong, I'm convinced they're worth it, but it's still a lot of money. Another thing to consider is that in order to fully benefit from the braking strength, the CSL V2's require a solid sim rig. More than once, I find myself basically standing up in my seat to apply heavy braking force. You'll need something sturdy enough to cope with that. For now, I'm using a Playseat Trophy which is up for the task, but even then the pedal mount flexes a little bit.
