About AllFastThings
Some people get into cars because of a poster on their bedroom wall. For me it was simpler than that — I just always wanted to go faster.
AllFastThings started as a place to write about that. Not a press outlet. Not a content farm churning out sponsored takes. Just one person — James — who drives, sim races, follows motorsport obsessively, and has opinions about all of it.
The long-term goal is honest: I want to race. Proper racing. AllFastThings is the platform I'm building around that ambition — documenting the journey, reviewing the cars I drive along the way, and covering the sim racing gear that keeps the skills sharp when I'm not on a circuit.
Why read AFT?
Because most automotive media tells you what manufacturers want you to hear. Press cars, press trips, carefully managed driving experiences designed to make everything feel better than it is.
If a car's steering wheel is too fat, I'll tell you it's too fat. If a €60,000 EV disappoints, I'll say so. If something genuinely surprises me, I'll tell you that too.
That's the deal.
What you'll find here
Honest car reviews from someone who actually drives them. Sim racing gear reviews and setup guides from someone who actually uses the equipment. Motorsport coverage, track day experiences, and the occasional hot take on whatever's happening in the racing world.
Based in Belgium. Writing in English. Racing whenever possible.
