The Lamborghini Huracan has been around for a while now, but that doesn't mean it's incapable of keeping up with its younger counterparts. Lamborghini brings an array of upgrades to the famous raging bull!
The Huracan GT3 EVO II is based on the STO, and the overall GT3 theme of 2023 is clearly focused on aero. Every manufacturer has made aero improvements for greater stability, better handling, and increased downforce. Lamborghini did the same with the Huracan GT3! The upgraded Huracan is a capable competitor. It might not be as fast as some other cars, but it can put its power down better than most. The older Huracan was notoriously edgy in that area, but that's no longer the case with this car! The mid-mounted engine makes it feel balanced and stable overall. The lack of turbochargers provides excellent drivability out of corners and allows you to fully exploit the power of the glorious naturally aspirated 5.2L V10.
Overall, it's fairly easy to achieve good lap times with the Lambo. It feels faster than it is, which means you have to push a bit harder than what the car tells you to do.

This new Huracan GT3 EVO II is great for beginners! That should give you some indication of how friendly the car is to drive. Overall, it's the most accessible car that came with the V1.9 update. It's not slow by any means, but the balance is great at most tracks.
A standout feature to me is the weight transfer. I just jumped out of a Porsche 911 GT3 R into this, and from the first corner I took, the smooth weight shifting was noticeable. That great transitioning means the car is very stable under braking and mid-corner when you're coming off the brake and starting to accelerate.
The front end is relatively sharp too, allowing you to take different lines. It tends to understeer, especially on throttle. Once you've clipped the apex and start applying throttle, you will find the car likes to run wide. The rear end isn't particularly snappy at that point, making it difficult to correct the understeer with throttle inputs.
However, I found that due to the sharp front end, you can take a slightly tighter line going into a corner and force the car on a much tighter line to counter the understeer.
Five steps on how to make the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO II faster in ACC:
- Stiffen the front suspension to counter understeer.
- Play around with TC Cut levels to find the right amount of rear-end steering.
- Trailbrake! The car is stable, so you can easily trail the brakes towards the apex. This will not only help with understeer but also maintain momentum.
- Ensure optimal tire temperature by pushing hard early on when leaving. Consider increasing the PSI, especially on the fronts.
- Increase the front anti-roll bar to improve corner entry if understeer becomes problematic.
