I really, really have to upgrade. Seriously, there's no other way… Or at least that's what I told my wife before putting down the $599 order on the Playseat Trophy. But was it worth it? Let's dive into the Playseat Trophy review.

Virtual Reality or VR has been around for a while now. But, although surely entertaining, it hasn’t truly broken the gaming standards (yet?). I remember most articles back in 2018 saying that VR would revolutionise how we play games. And that in the future, it would surely be the standard.

Fast forward to 2023 and finally big gaming titles like F1 start rolling out their very first VR gameplay. But even then a lot of other games still don’t support VR. Luckily though F1 and Assetta Corsa Competizione do. The latter has done for quite some time now.

So, is it worth it? sim racing in VR? 

Corner entry is probably one of the most important parts of any track. Get one corner entry wrong and you might end up ruining several following corners altogether. Why? Because it determines for a great part how you’ll go through the corner. Meaning when you’ll hit your apex and, also importantly, when and where you’ll exit.

Probably the best affordable direct drive wheelbase out on the market. I finally took the step to upgrade to the Fanatec CSL DD and I haven't regretted it for a single moment!

The Thrustmaster T300RS has been around for some time now. It was first released in December of 2016 and was a strong contender in the affordable racing wheel department. Unlike many other steering wheels in similar price ranges, the T300RS features a belt driven motor instead of gear driven.
